“To live and die in LA, it’s the place to be. You’ve gotta be there to know it, what everybody wanna see…”

Shout out to my favorite street artist at the moment, Alec Monopoly. His iconic “Monopoly man” street art began when the economy tanked.  As corporations continually began to crumble, his monopoly man symbolized the corruption of corporate America. It was not a complete accident that his chosen character to represent corporate misconduct also looks a lot like Bernie Madoff. He took the iconic symbol and transformed it into a political expression. Kudos Alec. Love your work.
