Feeling stressed?

If you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed, try this: 

Put 1 or both hands over your chest, either directly over your heart or in the middle of your chest. Close your eyes and slowly continue to breathe in and out, taking long, deep breaths. Now think about something you are grateful for. This may be some thing or someone, just continue to focus on that idea in your mind as you continue to take long, deep breaths. Continue for a few minutes, or for as long as your heart desires. :)

Do you feel the rhythm? This is the rhythm your body moves to when your mind is connected with it. It’s essential to stop and realize our body can move out of rhythm if we forget what’s important in life and lose control of our thoughts. Remember: This is your body, and you have control over it.

Sometimes, when we realize what we are grateful for, our worries and problems will slowly disappear. Those problems will begin to seem trivial when looking at the bigger picture, and we remember just how beautiful life is.

Just keep breathing. It will help, I promise.
